Discover Our Story
Hey there! I'm Fay-Marie Digby, author and founder of House of Digby, and I'm so glad you're here! This isn't just a website; it's a place where stories come to life, dreams are nurtured, and a community of passionate people connect.
Like many of you, I've always been a bit of a whirlwind (thanks, ADHD!). From a young age, I dreamed of studying creative writing and psychology in college, but life had other plans. Instead, I entered the workforce at 16, embarking on a journey that took me through more jobs than I can even count! I've dabbled in everything from retail and sales to banking and even dealt poker at one of the world's most prestigious casinos. While I was bouncing around, I was always writing. I knew I wanted to be an author, but I wasn't sure what type of author.

That's another ADHD thing, I love all genres! Right now, I'm focused on writing dark romance, but I have plans to explore horror, sci-fi, and more under different pen names.

Through all those twists and turns, I finally found my place in writing. Now, I'm not only pursuing my own author dreams but also helping other authors find their voice and share it with the world. I've been through the rollercoaster of publishing, and I'm here to offer guidance, support, and a whole lot of encouragement.
But House of Digby isn't just me! It's a team of incredible women who share a collective mission: to create a thriving community where readers and writers feel supported, inspired, and empowered. We believe in breaking down barriers and making education accessible to everyone, which is why we are sharing resources completely free of charge.
We're all constantly learning and growing, and we believe that the best way to learn is to share our knowledge with others. We're not just a business; we're a community of strong, independent women who support each other and empower authors to achieve their dreams. These talented ladies bring their unique skills and expertise to every project, creating a truly collaborative and supportive environment. I am forever grateful for their hard work and dedication.

Fay-Marie is the creative force and founder of House of Digby! Nestled on the UK coast, she juggles multiple pen names because one genre simply can't contain her imagination. A true night owl, you'll often find her curled up with her feline muse, a steaming mug of coffee, and a head brimming with fictional drama. This ambidextrous, delightfully chaotic author is always plotting, whether it's a deliciously dark romance twist or her next well-deserved snack break.

Kristen is our eagle-eyed editor! Hailing from the heart of America, she's been a bookworm since, well, forever! With four daughters keeping her on her toes, Kristen brings a wealth of experience and a sharp perspective to the team. Brainstorming with her is always a blast!
Jessie Griffin
Marketing
Jessie is our social media guru and formatting whiz! She calls Northern Michigan home, where she wrangles two energetic kids, a whole clowder of cats, and one very confused dog who thinks she's a cat. When Jessie isn't busy with her family (furry and otherwise!), you'll find her nose buried in a book or working on her latest crochet project. She's a true animal lover and nature enthusiast!
